CURRENT MISSION

Getting married on October 16th 2011 and then heading out to SE Asia at the end of October 2011 for 3 months for our modified honeymoon which will include meeting some awesome people and experiencing how people live in those areas.

ABOUT ME

We have a blog called blog.yinyangtravel.org because of the way we travel together. She likes daytime tourist and food stuff. I like nighttime socializing and living like a local. We balance each other out really well when we travel.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel like a local. I'm not keen on doing tourist stuff, I would rather go to places that locals go to eat & drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've housed many friends over the years from out of town/country at our place and have opened our place to new folks who are friends of friends. Now we're looking to do some serious traveling and would love to experience CouchSurfing first hand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Earlier this year (2011) I had the chance to take my parents back to India (where my father is from) and see the house he was born and brought up in along with meet all of his side of the family. Something I have not done since I was a kid when they took us there on holiday but of course, I can't remember any of it from then.

Teach, Learn, Share

My fiance is an amazing cook of all types of food and baking. I love electronics in particular PCs and do volunteer work at a local children's center to fix their computers.
