ABOUT ME

I am an enthusiastic, outgoing, adventurous person and love new experiences!! I grew up hiking and climbing in Colorado in the United states and still love exploring the outdoors! I am currently a student at Baylor University in Texas, studying to become a doctor and am participating in a study abroad program in Europe for a semester. I love interacting with people and learning about their families, work, interests, and lives. I joke around and laugh a lot because I love having fun, and there is rarely a dull moment in my life because I can't sit still for much longer than 5 minutes!! I am full of energy and but also like to talk with people over a good meal or a walk around the city and I try to be kind and caring towards everyone I meet!!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a strong believer in the saying "everything happens for a reason" and I truly believe that life is meant to be enjoyed to its fullest!! I also base my life around a strong faith in God and believe that I was put here on Earth to honor Him which is what i try to do through all my interactions and experiences!

I haven't couch surfed previously but have heard many wonderful stories from friends and look forward to trying it for myself!

Interests

I love the full range of outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, water sports, hiking/backpacking, and camping! I enjoy my studies at the University and am looking forward to a career as a doctor. Traveling is one of my favorite activities and I enjoy meeting people abroad!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Colorado: free falling over the mountains was one of the most breath-taking and exhilarating experiences of my life!
Scuba Diving with Sharks in Fiji: seeing the giant animals swimming all around me was humbling and thrilling at the same time!
Watching a Missionary Doctor Work in Kenya: being involved in the care of patients in a temporary clinic in Kenya and watching the care with which a missionary doctor took care of them was more than heart-warming and inspiring!
