ABOUT ME
Currently a medical student but still trying to find time to do the things I love (which is ridiculously difficult).
I've previously worked as a lifeguard and also at the Apple Store solving peoples' mundane first world problems. I've also volunteered a lot in care homes - subsequently meaning I'm ridiculous at Scrabble, if I went on a gameshow my special skill would be: "Ability to use the letter Q"
In 2012 I travelled round the world on my own sometimes couch surfing.
NB: The profile picture I have is from almost 3 years ago - I pretty much look the same except I'm now a woman.
I joke
PHILOSOPHY
Keep an open mind - I am able to take in different opinions and cultures. I believe the world was made for travelling and couch surfing helps us achieve that. Life is too short for just work and I would love to spend most of my life travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If you're looking for a host a personalised message to me would be nice. Also since I am 20 you may find me a better host if you are around my age although I find I get along with all types of people
Interests
I love music and I play 3 instruments...which for an Asian person I suppose its incredibly ordinary - but anyway piano, guitar and clarinet
I also love sports - i've tried many sports over the years but I love swimming and cycling.
However, my biggest love is food - its amazing how I eat so much junk without being overweight...although its probably all the swimming I do

Music, Movies, and Books
As a huge musical nerd I listen to everything and can get pretty anal about bad music.
I have a weird thing for RomComs...my parents are rather worried by this - especially when I became obsessed with 500 Days of Summer
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've travelled to many places and done some pretty great things. Riding an elephant in Thailand was amazing along with diving.
I love cycling and cycled from london to paris which was a great adventure and something I would highly recommend to anyone looking to a cycling trip.
Crossing the finish line of a marathon was pretty insane - as was the pain in my left knee after 26.2 miles
Being randomly invited to an indian wedding while wandering the streets of Jaipur was pretty funny.
Scuba diving the great barrier reef was insane
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak mandarin chinese which you might be interested in learning. Also I play a few instruments so I can teach you a few things.
People also say I cook well although I think thats up for debate...
