About Me

I am 23 and already a third year PhD student in health economics.
On weekdays I study and spend hours alone in my office, on weekends I gather my group and we take road trips.
Whenever I get a chance, I try to take road trips and meet new people on the way. (although I have ended up in wrong areas sometime :p )

I am a very easy going person and I love to listen to people. I don't like quite people, or those who are too cool to be excited about anything. I love being around talkative people, people who are excited about even the small things in life and people who are down to earth with easy going attitude.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always stayed in hotels when travelling, but I have finally realized that if I really want to learn about the culture; I need to start staying with locals. Obviously, there is no better way to actually do that then to use CS :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove through Kashmir; something that very few people can even do :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about other cultures.
I do not like being just a tourist, I prefer to integrate with local culture. I believe that is the best way to actually appreciate the individuality of each culture.
I am learning Spanish, and right now I am only focusing on travelling to countries in Latin America.
I am really fascinated by the diversity of culture and ethnicity in Latin America. I really want to learn more about it :)
