Hello!

My name is Ammoy Morgan ( newly married but I don't know how to change my last name on here lol) I heard about couch surfing through a friend I met in Las Vegas about 2 years ago. I was born on the beautiful Island of Jamaica and grew up in the boogie down Bronx, New York. I am currently living in Orlando, Florida with my husband Dwayne and our puppy King Simbah, where I am an educator by day and an Amazon Prime dispatcher by night. I am also an entrepreneur and I currently own a classic hat line with my husband. I love sightseeing and being surrounded my nature. I love historical landmarks and museums. I love traveling and going to new places so much so that for my husbands birthday 2 years ago I surprised him with a trip to Colombia which felt like a gift to myself as well lol. We met so many new friends who are now like family and I want to continue doing just that. Meeting genuine people all over this great big world. I am a major foodie so experiencing new cultures and their foods are a big to do for me! I look forward to more couch surfing experiences and welcoming others whenever they are in Orlando!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I want to connect with new people all over the globe as well as share my culture and experiences with everyone. I think couch surfing is an authentic way to get people to learn more about your city or wherever you are living .

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Jazz music and contemporary soul. I love artists like Lianne la Havas , Kurt Elling and reggae music. I throughly enjoy action and comedy films. I saw "The Wiz" for the first time 1 month ago I know super sad lol but I loved it. I love many non fiction books and poetry Toni Morrison and James Baldwin is a major favorite.

Teach, Learn, Share

As an educator my hope is to travel the world and become an ambassador of some sort. I'd love to learn to speak and write in different languages. I'd also love to share all of my amazing baking recipes.
