I am (a bit) crazy, but in my craziness I understand myself. I always keep dreaming, although some people could consider me a 'dreamer' and wrongly treat me as an 'immature' person. I am, for instance, a mature person that has been living by her own since I was 18.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling alone, but alone does not mean by my own all the time. I think that travelling is an experience that must be shared with others: people from you can learn so many things, and that can form part of your trip (and therefore, your life) forever.

Interests

Cinema: I love watching movies and go quite often to cinema (more than 50 times last year). I especially like horror, sci-fi and thriller movies but I enjoy almost any film that has got a good plot (and a good twist).

Travelling: I try to be a traveller not a tourist. I enjoy organising trips, but I also like improvising once I am already in the country. I may do a round the world trip one day, in the near future (I hope!). Some of the places that I have enjoyed the most are Berlin (great nigh-life); Mae Nam (in Koh Samui, a very small village where you can relax); La Paz (a vibrant city full of contrasts and culture); Karnak Temple (Luxor, Egypt); and the Amazon rainforest. However, I get the most from each experience :).

Culture & Psychology: Because of my Psychology background, I like analysing human behaviour, especially from a cultural and social context. I have friends from all around the world! Thus, I am very curious about traditions and enjoy learning from others' perceptions.

Partying: I love "rumbear" (used to go out a lot when I was living in my hometown) and the gay night-life. I also love electronic music :).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: it depends, there is a mood for each kind of music. I love latin music in general. I am a big fan of Lana del Rey.

Movies: the last movie that I watched (and liked a lot) was "Beasts of No Nation". I like mind-blowing movies (Coherence, The One I Love, Time Lapse, Triangle); horror movies (Eden Lake, The Loved Ones); thrillers (Confessions, Revenge: A Love Story, I Saw the Devil; Memento); Asian movies: etc. As I posses an interest in cinema in general, I enjoy quite a lot type of movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I moved to the UK without knowing English and after two years I finished an Access University course and started my first year of uni in Scotland.

- I climbed the Machu Picchu montain... without carrying a bottle of water. It was not an experience that I was looking forward to living... But I survived :D.

- I stayed in the Amazon rainforest for four days, and swimed in the Mano de Dios river. An amazing experience!
