ABOUT ME

I am a 3L law student at Columbia in New York City. Prior to that, I lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area. I grew up in Oregon, went to school in L.A., and studied in Berlin for a year. In short, I have called many places home and like to think that each of those homes have helped shape me.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that people are inherently good, and that karma plays a big role in how people perceive humanity. I believe that truth is, above all, what structures our entire experience of life. I believe that there is love all around us, and that it is the reason that we live: to love oneself, one's friends and neighbors, the earth, and even our enemies is what makes us human and what makes us alive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am rather new to the CS community, but so far I have had only wonderful experiences! I am open to both surfing and hosting, as time, money, and circumstances allow. I believe that CS is one of the most organic, grassroots ways for people to travel and expand and deepen their connections all over the world.

I love day hikes, wine, cooking and eating (vegan and gluten-free...my special niche :P), exploring, reading, T.V., etc.
