ABOUT ME

I love visiting new places, sailing everywhere, and exploring! I am a very laid back person, but I love meeting new people and being adventurous. New cultures and people's stories fascinate me. I'm fairly spontaneous -- I love to try new things and go places just to see what it's like, and see if it's something I'll want to do again.

The world is a huge place, but we're not all that different. I love having a little bit of fun and sharing the interests of my host, new friend, or passerby.

Some of my passions are sailing, swimming, musical instruments, finding beautiful historic or quirky places, experiencing new cultures, and having fun!

Let me have the chance to meet you, I'd love to learn all about places you've been in the world and share some of the places I've been! Please let me experience what you do for fun!

PHILOSOPHY

I live for adventure of things I've never seen before and places I've never been. I'll try most of anything at least once. I like living life to its fullest, because to enjoy the world around you is the best medicine!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surf and meet new people from around the world. It's a great way to make new friends, learn about new places, and really get acquainted with new things that would otherwise be foreign. I've been to a lot of places, have hosted couchsurfers in Puerto Rico, and have couchsurfed myself quite a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with couchsurfing hosts as part of my travels, as well as some local couchsurfers who I have known for a long time. I have traveled from place to place, meeting new people and couch surfing all over the Caribbean. I have absolutely enjoyed being able to share some of my culture with others, and learn about how others enjoy their time as well. I want to know from a local all of the wonderful things to explore in their area.

I read some nautical type books, and some science fiction. I like different kinds of music: flamenco, smooth reggae, and pretty much anything else with a good beat. I like pretty adventurous movies, like Desperado. Also, Doctor Who is great! I'm somewhat of a Star Trek fan as well.

We ordered pizza delivery to a beach, picked up by dingy boat to a larger ship anchored off the coast and served it to the crew. Was.. interesting. I've also gone hiking with other couchsurfers through the rainforest of Puerto Rico.

I'm willing to share stories of my experiences, things I've seen elsewhere, and experience things that you love to do! I made American style lemonade for a Caribbean native before, and they were stunned, because they don't have yellow lemons in that area. I love sharing little things like that, and learning about all the places in the world I can go.
