ABOUT ME
I'm a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Brooklyn. I went to college in Massachusetts. I love to experience new places, to see cultures, architecture, music (love music), ways of living, lifestyles, etc. I love great conversations, animals, awesome people, and respect. I like to see shows and dance to good beats.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think couch surfing is a great way to share an experience. I think the greatest gift is to give - and when it is received with gratitude, it's an incredible feeling.

I'm also using couchsurfing as a cost effective way to be able to take my current trip, as I am in Europe

I love music of all types. One of my favorite things is seeing live music. In terms of genre, my top favorites are reggae, funk, jazz, trip hop, sometimes house, tribal fusion like Consider the Source, Lettuce, Random Rab, Ott, Nicola Cruz, etc. etc. etc.! If you make music, I'd love to hear your work.

I am a Reiki Master and can do a session on you. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique. Rei- "universal" ki-"life force energy". So Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy. The practice may help to restore physical or emotional well-being. It is administered by "laying of hands" (or hovering a few inches above specific points) and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

If you are interested in learning more or trying it, I can do a session, either on you or a pet. I also do distance reiki, which is when I do a session from a location other than where the person is.

In general, I am very patient and at the very least I can offer my listening skills and/or be an extra ear or sounding board to try ideas out on.

I also studied ethnobotany and holistic healing so I am knowledgable about herbal medicine. I'm very interested in perfumes and have some training in this field.
