ABOUT ME

I'm 49 years old, married, two daughters. I work in Frankfurt for a publisher as a domain-expert and robotier for software testing. Before that I studied history & philosophy and, after my exams, "book science" at the Munich university.
I'm surely not the typical traveller, because I love the places I live and work (that's the reason for hosting). But when I travel I'm interested in all the people and habits I experience. And I enjoy the enrichment of every meeting I have.
In the last years the whole family travelled together to our destinations in France, Denmark, Netherlands and India. But now the children grew up - so there is the chance to travel to the destinations we like individually.
Calm, polite, friendly - this description about my personality I heard often from my seminar members. Could be ;-).

Música, películas y libros

Difficult to list, because it's widespread. For example the last CD's I heard: Staff Benda Bilili, Händel, Foals, Talking Heads, gregorian chorals, Florence & the Machine, Charlie Winston.
Books: I like the german author Uwe Timm, but also good detective stories.
Films: The Big Lebowski, Rivers & Tides, Ziemlich beste Freunde, comedies

Algo increíble que he hecho

Some years ago I travelled in South India and had to swaddle my youngest daughter - in the face of 120 indian women, who stood suddenly around me. They had never seen a man swaddling a baby before so they eyed me very critically. After this experience I was able to swaddle my daughter at any time at any place :-)
