ABOUT ME

doer, maker, collector of things.

I attended a private art college in St. Paul MN for a few years but I'm taking a break from school to travel. I was born and raised in a sleepy town in southern Iowa, and I am desperate for travel. I've just landed a job as a flight attendant, and I'm based in Minneapolis, MN. I'm hoping this job affords me the ability to see things I normally wouldn't have been able to.

Someday I'd like to own a quiet bed & breakfast on the coast.

PHILOSOPHY

i'm a self-proclaimed cheapskate. i'm a fan of typography,
vintage clothes, music, art, DIY, the midwest, cheese, red wine & craft beer.

i follow the Epicurian philosophy that we are here to enjoy life in the way we choose, so long as we are not getting in the way of, or harming others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a flight attendant, and I often have long layovers in various cities throughout the US & Canada. I would love to meet up with locals who can show me around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't yet experienced any organized couchsurfing, but I'm extremely excited to start! so far the responses i've gotten from potential hosts have been incredible & inspiring!

i love hosting parties of my own and i do believe i'm quite addicted. In fact i think I'm rather hooked on parties in general. they encompass all things i love: design, decor, fashion, art, craft, food, and great company.
