About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get on the good foot

ABOUT ME

Ok,instead of alllll about me, I'll just put in a few key bits. Here, how about bulletpoints? Everyone likes bulletpoints

* I like natural sounds, green ground, shoes that fit, mind stretchers, kind couchers, roasted spuds, dancing in mud, colourful creatures, creative futures.

* I don't like wet veg, hard bread, things gone unsaid, car culture, financial vultures, little splinters, Harold Pinter. (actually, that last one was just for the sake of the rhyme. I do actually like the plays Harold Pinter

* I am of middling height, am currently wearing a dark blue jacket and have a shortish beard with curly bits.

PHILOSOPHY

The bests things in life aren't things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have lived in a house that was a host to many, look forward to the first surfers whose waves break on these gloucestershire shores...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last time I was on a very late bus going into Bristol, I realised I hadn't organised anywhere to stay at the other end. Ooops. I thought about my options, came to a conclusion, then asked a couple on the bus if they had heard of couch surfing. They had. I then said, well, this is a bit like couchsurfing, except not on the internet. They were really cool people and gave me a place to stay at their house, and I got up very early to take a train to wales. It reaffirmed my faith in meeting strangers, and the word 'couchsurfing' was my key.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in phsophorence, showering under waterfalls, sleeping in a palace made of ice...

More generally, I'm amazed by coincidences, where life seems to sudfenly fall into place in a way that seems to be beyond the mechanical function of newtonian particles.
