About Me

--- I'M CURRENTLY NOT IN VIENNA AND WON'T BE ABLE TO HOST ANYONE ---

Hey there!

My name is Amra and I'm from a small town in Upper Austria. I'm about to finish my studies to become a teacher (subjects: English, Psychology and Philosophy).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea behind this ..it's such a great opportunity to get to know people from all over the world and learn about different cultures! It's also nice to roam a city with a local since they can show you not so touristic parts of the place you are staying at. Even though I haven't had any luck with finding a host during my travels, I'm still pretty into this whole thing ..it makes travelling even more exciting than it already is!

Interests

The stuff I'm really passionate about would be cooking, sports and concerts! But what I get most excited about is when I'm able to look forward to a vacation and some travelling ..that's why we are here, right?

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to music suggestions (except electronic stuff, not really my cup of tea) but what I enjoy most is rock/alternative music and a little bit of metal from time to time (thanks to my older brother, young girls are so easy to influence :p )
Honestly, I'm more of a "let's binge watch a tv series" than a "movie night" kind of person. Crime and thriller stuff is what glues me to the screen the most, I guess; also very much so in form of documentaries (who hasn't watched Making a Murderer yet, please do so!)
Book-wise is close to what I love to watch on Netflix & Co., crime/thriller/suspense kind of stuff. Loved the David Hunter series by Simon Beckett for example (another recommendation here if you're looking for something to read).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of amazing things so far .. but the most memorable would be that I went scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef .. the ocean is the most amazing and at the same time most terrifying place ever!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey
