Hi, I'm Amrei from Germany. I cannot hide that I'm interested in music and the the human expression in generall.
I am a pacifistic person and would love the world to be more pacifistic too.
That's why I chose to study arts and some other subjects for primary teaching because with primary teaching one can try to give the best influence to the kids that will be the society of tomorrow.

I travelled a lot with my mother and two sisters and partly by myself what awakened my motivation and interest to go on and explore the nice places of this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned, that on every spot of the world you can meet nice people. Therefore couchsurfing is a very good idea to get to know them :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am listening to differend kinds of musik and am very open to get used to new genres. A good song is one that goes straight to my heart and passes over some energy and this can happen independent of a genre. But of course I listen to some genres more often than to others. I often like jazz, bossa nova, latin, funk, jipsy musik, world-music, electro-swing, reggae or fusions of jazz and hip-hop. And when music is filled with different languages, the better it is...but certainly also just instrumental music can be perfect and transmit a lot.

Oh and concerning films....Aki Kaurismäki is my favorite regisseur with his own humor and music taste.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was riding from South America to South italy on the back of a turtle.
...hm or ... maybe it was just a dream...

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn the spanish language. I want to get to know people who make music and I'm open to learn everything about different
cultures, people and places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a nice evening of cooking or going out in surch of live music or a bar, where one can play billiard or something like that.
I could grab my guitar and jam a bit with others.
I could teach you german or a little bit of slacklining.
