ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Jordan. I worked as a corporate lawyer for 10 years and lived between Jordan, Dubai and London. Then in 2019, I moved to Toronto, Canada, and moved on from practicing law to becoming a Life Coach as I realized that I want to help empower others in a more fundamental way.

I love sports and adventures, and everything fun, and love to expand my comfort zone in all ways (except when it comes to food!). I like to read, I enjoy music and I appreciate all the different forms of art.

I also enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about the different cultures.

In short, I like good vibes, but I find it a privilege when I can help and support others around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and creating new connections, and sharing new experiences with others. I feel Couchsurfing serves that through the platform that it presents which brings people with common interests together when they're traveling abroad.

Even though I've been a member since 2010, I've been very flaky with my use of Couchsurfing. Hopefully I might get to use it more often now (despite the pandemic that's hitting us now, in 2020).

Interests

I love hikes and playing sports, watching movies, sharing philosophical views and reading. But there's more to me beyond this sentence.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: there is no small list and I am generally fond of of comedy and adventure movies. Examples are Braveheart, The Longest Yard, Hancock, V for Vendetta and Wall-E (yes, I'm old school).
Music: most instrumental songs and music. Anything melodic really. Nowadays, I really enjoy psytrance though.
Books: non-fiction books, including Harry Potter and Enders Game Saga.

Teach, Learn, Share

In each of us, there are negative (saboteur) voices, and positive (sage) voices. By becoming aware of them both, and by practicing mini-meditation exercises, you'll be able to minimize the effects of the negative thoughts, and get empowered by the positive ones.
