ABOUT ME
Many Europeans who have met me have said that I cannot possibly be an American. Maybe it's because my favorite food is borscht (beet soup) or that I don't like American football but I find soccer much more interesting. Or perhaps it's because I rarely watch tv and speak a couple languages other than English. But I think the thing that surprises them most is that I don't like potato chips or cola (except when mixed with beer). :)
I really like meeting people from different countries and learning about their culture. During university I enjoyed meeting international students and I've also lived in Germany for about three years. From these experiences I have met so many people and have learned a lot from them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I offered my couch at my old apartment but now I live in this tiny dorm room with barely any room. I would love to show you around the beautiful city of Marburg sometime!

Coming from the plains of the American Midwest, seeing actual mountains for the first time in Switzerland (and then learning to ski). Absolutely breathtaking!
