ABOUT ME

I grew up in China until the age of 12, then left home to study in London. A little over a year ago my family moved to Toronto, and so did I. It has been awesome so far, and I am looking forward to the next destination :D

I am an introvert, although you would probably be surprised to see how outgoing I am when you meet me. I love math, science and a big fan of social science (NERD WARNING)! If I ever start to talk about multiverse or nuclear fusion, and other topics causing an unpleasant memory of your high school science class, stop me right there! Please don't be polite as you might be hearing an hour-long lecture on the topic.

If you are interested to hear about the mysterious Chinese communist party, I am happy to give the insiders story. It is complicated and strange, but I think it will be very interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

Eat until the last moment ! Live is too short for us to enjoy, take as much as you can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surf as much as I could, and introduce it to my friends and family. This is a lovely community and I really hope everyone could join in. I often hear people say it's dangerous, but I want to prove to them that the world is still full of love! It is sad to see people in today's society lost faith in humanity; I want to get back to the old days when we talked to strangers and trusted each other.

Intereses

FOOD! It is my life's passion, and I mean who doesn't love food? There is a strange calmness within the process of cooking, and it could be quite philosophical too. Cooking for me is more about the attitude rather than the precision. No scales, no measuring cups, and no recipes. It’s cooked when it’s cooked, that’s how I do it – free style.

It's actually my mom who is the one really amazing - we drove from Jindezheng ( a town in china which is famous for it's porcelain) to Xi'an in one day. It was about 1400 KM, and took us 16 hours !!! I love my MOM ^_^
