HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have shared my flat a few times now through couchsurf, as also I have been participating in a way that shows me the most relevance so far... by inviting sound looking strangers for a nights rest and being invited by strangers in foreign cities for the share of a roof... all of which were beautiful experiences, its a great way to travel, free of unnecessary expenses and above all the hassle of planning ~ I'm looking forward to the day when travelers with backpacks will be spontaneously stopped by strangers in foreign cities offering a nights rest, but of course, couch surf is great all the same ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first surfed in Boulder colorado, then Arnhem last year Bordeaux, and this summer a bit in Ireland, though it was mightily painfully tough to find a couch.
Two winters ago I did alot of hosting for about 30 or 40 surfers which came by. It made an immensely positive impression on me. Couchsurfing can be a very honest, reciprocal experience.

a music improvising session with a friend, that brought us very far; no thoughts, no effort, no bounds, just music emerging from its vast world.. I also saw a house grow from foundation to roof with the walls made of mud... and every morning I am witness to the dazzling enterprise of a new day ...

I can teach cob building, would like learn other natural building techniques and i also know the basis of musical theory and bake some mighty fine sour dough bread... would love to learn to create with wood, it's a long standing vision, I started with some carving and timber-framing this summer and fall... I also know and have experienced the basic aspects of macrobiotic cooking... I love sharing knowledge about books, from prose to poetry to integral or holistic theories of life... Recently economics has really struck me as a necessity to revision(and it's exciting how many people are really thinking about this), so I've started reading alot of mags and NPs on the way, and am reading Schumachers bold critique of a society and system dependent on the horrifying accumulation of wealth and capital at whatever cost, as well as books on peak oil...
