I'm half Filipina, half Maltese, and somehow also one hundred percent American. I believe that the universe exists to be experienced, that reading and writing are the best medicines against silence, and that empathy is the only thing that will save us. I love exploring, hearing interesting stories, discovering things and places I've never even heard of before, and sharing good conversation over pots of tea (or drinks, though I'm a super lightweight).

Oh, and cats. Cats are awesome.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

With parents from two different countries on opposite sides of the world, travelling has been an important part of my life since a young age. Now that I've completed my schooling and left the States, I'm finally able to support my own travelling habit, and I hope couchsurfing will help me discover more of the world, and the wonderful people in it.

兴趣

One of the best things about meeting new people in new places is learning about the things they are passionate about. I am fairly easily fascinated by new ideas and skills. That said, my greatest interest is and always has been the stories we tell each other--and when I'm not out swimming, exploring, or enjoying delicious food with friends, you will usually find me reading or writing.
