Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I'm reading Sundown Towns: A Hidden Dimension of American Racism by James Lowen. My favorite book is The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest by Stieg Larsson
I enjoy R&B and pop, but when I'm studying I listen to jazz and lofi.
I love Studio Ghibli movies to wind down to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently my mother had a landmark birthday so I gifted her an all expenses paid (by me) two week trip to Italy that I planned.
For under 5000 dollars including airfare, hotels and transportation, we went to Rome, Florence and Venice. Took day trips to Pompeii and Cinque Terre and went truffle hunting and horseback riding, ending our time at a 5 star hotel and a Michelin dinner.
Teach, Learn, Share
Some miscellaneous skills I have that I could teach others are ice skating, sewing, embroidery, gardening, acquiring antiques and sourcing quality furniture, and advising on event planning and execution.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to share my cooking knowledge (although not expansive) and any of my varied skills that might benefit them.
