Hi! We're Max and Amy. We are two students from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada (the namesake of beloved children's character Winnie the Pooh) who love people, adventure, beer and food.

Max studies law, loves banana cakes, golden retriever puppies, and beer.
Amy studies music education, is really good at braiding hair and has a good sense of direction, can sing really high and loves french fries more than most things.

Growing up in a small Canadian prairie city we've always had a classic case of wanderlust (I know, it's very cliche). We want to to see new places, We want to have new experiences, We want to meet new people who can show me what makes their home region/town/country special.

We want to travel consciously and with purpose, and think Couchsurfing can help us do that.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Max-At the end of the John Muir Trail, in California's Sierra Nevadas, I climbed to the top of Mount Whitney to watch the sunrise over the forest-fire-smoke-filled valley. The sun turned the smoke a bright red, and the mountain tops poking out of the smoke made it seem like I was looking at an ocean of fire. Regardless of how cold and sleep deprived we were, it was the best.

Amy-canoed through the remote Canadian Wilderness for two weeks without running into any other paddlers.

Max is a good cook and likes to chat politics (but also knows how not to if that's not your thing)
