Hello there! I'm Amy and I'm an elementary art teacher at a public school in NYC. I'm also an artist- oil painter. I'm born and bred in Brooklyn, New York but leave New York whenever I get a chance to. I love to travel and meet new people learning about new cultures.

Couchsurfing was introduced to me from my best friend who is an avid traveler. After experiencing it myself I realized the amazing people I met. The connections that I've made sharing stories and knowledge can never be replaced. I love meeting new people and sharing happiness.
