About Me

Permanent optimist and lover of life...

Generous of spirit, I love people. I love meeting people and sharing ideas, conversation and laughter. I love learning from people and hearing their opinions and about their experiences of this world and sharing my own.

Kindness is a currency and I believe it is up to us to share and exchange it in as many ways as possible.

I love to sing, dance and explore our natural environment. Not a city girl, I love the sunshine, the ocean and the mountains and try to spend as much of my time making the most of them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Coushsurfing offers a completely different experience to being a 'Tourist'. By experiencing life with locals, I feel we learn and understand in greater depth about places and cultures and have more opportunities to share experiences and learn from each other.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music. My favourites span from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers to The Cure to Bonobo, Faithless, Fred V and Grafix, Bombay Bicycle Club and Bayonne. I love music!

Favourite film has to be Michael Bay's Bad Boys or Baz Lurman's Romeo and Juliet.

Favourite book is Catch 22.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best things I've ever done was the Tough Mudder challenge; a 12 mile army assault course in the UK. There are longer, tougher physical challenges out there but for me this was a huge deal and it was one of the most physically challenging but emotionally rewarding and fulfilling things I've ever done and we managed to raise over £10,000 for charity whilst doing it!

Talking of other amazing things I have been lucky enough to see or experience: From getting to work backstage at some of Britain's biggest music festivals to learning to surf in the best surf spot in the Caribbean... There are too many to list for which I am so incredibly grateful.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cocktails, Singing, Dancing, Music, Food, Philosophy, Literature... I'll do my best to share what I've learnt along the journey of life so far with any one who cares to listen.

Ghandi said to live as if you were to die tomorrow and learn as if you will live forever.

Every new day brings new things to be learnt and explored.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A love of life and a serious amount of enthusiasm! I'm full of energy and thoughts and the need to learn so I'm constantly talking, questioning everything about life and the world and trying to learn as much as possible about the earth we live on and the different people who inhabit it.
