About Me

I'm a student based in Melbourne living 25 mins from the city in Hughesdale with my partner, George. We are perpetually planning my next trips overseas. Trying to find the balance between these is hard sometimes, while juggling 5 jobs and a social life.

I travelled around Europe and the UK in 2015 for 4 months, and came home via the States and Canada. This first solo experience could not have been better, and I really love meeting locals and actually getting immersed in the culture and learning about traditions, slang and conceptualisations individuals have.
Studying English as an International Language and Psychology simultaneously also enables me to have a bit of a different outlook on people, and gives insight to the value of intercultural relationships.

I lived in Canada and travelled around the US last year and absolutely loved it, during a gap year in my undergrad. I pretty much aim to do it all! Now I am completing a Masters of Teaching (Secondary) and am trying to gain knowledge and experience in a range of settings - schools in Europe would be a huge bonus!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting locals is the best way to experience a new culture and country - what better way than couch surfing. I'm a lil bit nervous because I've never done it before, but if you sound like a genuine person hopefully you are!
