I am a 23 year old college student currently living at home in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
I come from a single parent family where my mum was my main influence throughout my life. I have one older brother who I look up to as my role model. He is currently travelling throughout Australia with his girlfriend and I hope to venture over to that side of the world this summer with my boyfriend, Jonny - English, Soccer player and college student.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying to travel as much as possible whilst being a student however, insufficient funds is stopping me from doing so in certain cases. I would be thankful to repay the favour of a kind heart allowing myself and often a few friends to stay at their home.
My goal is to see the world and seeing the world should not only be given to those who can afford it! What better way is there to learn about a place you have never been before than to stay with someone who lives there? I want to be able to share stories with others and equally impact them as they impact my life.

Interests

I love curling up with a good book a cup of green tea and watching the sun go down. On the other hand I love adventure and the outdoors. My main mode of transport is my bike. I love getting active everyday in all weather.

If you don't find me out exploring you will find me in the gym running or lifting weights. I also love doing yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies considerable and it is often due to the influence of others. I could sit and listen to works from Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix all day on a record player but I love working out to electric pop. I usually spend some down time listening to Indie such as Ed Sheran, but my true love lives behind TLC, Destiny's Child and Kanye West.
If I go to the movies I will always pick an action movie over a romantic Anne Hathaway flick. It must be because I seek the adventure in life with everything I do! Fast and Furious, Mission Impossible, Mr and Mrs Smith...but I do have to say that my favourite movies are comedies - down right stupid comedies, smart humour and even children targeted movies, I love them all - what's better than a good laugh eh?

Teach, Learn, Share

At first thought I wouldn't say that I have very much that I can teach someone as I am only at the beginning of my worldly travels. It is I who needs to learn from others. However, I do believe that I have gained from knowledge through the last year I have spent abroad, and that is to give back. Nothing is more fulfilling than being able to travel at the same time as making a difference in someone else's life. During Spring Break 2015 I worked with Rebuilding Together New Orleans in order to rebuild a woman house who was impacted by Hurricane Katrina. That was the most emotional and incredible time of my life.

I want to share my stories with others and learn from them.
