I’m Amy (she/her), a trans woman from India, and I’ve been living in Berlin for the past 1.5 years. I moved here on my own and met my partner after arriving — they’re originally from Berlin. Now we live here together with our two amazing kids (11 and 13), two tortoises (Klöbsjen, Klößjen), and two guinea pigs (Bo, Timmy)!

I’m a very easygoing and open person who truly enjoys listening to people’s stories and observing the different ways we all live and connect. Most of my meaningful experiences have always involved people — whether strangers, friends, or anyone in between. I really believe it’s the people who make a place come alive.

I’m super interested in chess, travelling, cognitive science, shopping, and I’m a bit of a music nerd — I love collecting vinyl records and quirky t-shirts.

From as far as I remember, I have believed that most experiences that I could recall always involve people be it strangers, friends or anything in between. It's the people that make a place! Hence, I am super excited to be here.
