Hi, my name is Amy and I have a passion for travelling, meeting new people and seeing new places. I went travelling alone for the first time last year and now really have caught the travelling bug! I know the above sounds extremely cliché but it's true what they say: 'When you travel, your list does not get shorted but gets infinitely longer.'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So many people have told me amazing things about Couchsurfing so I knew I had to give it a go. I'm really interested in seeing a locals perspective of a city and not always doing the touristy things.

As far as books go I love crime fiction. Agatha Christie is one of my favourite authors and I've read most of her work and could read it all over again!

I love horror films!

My spotify playlist is full of chilled out songs, perfect for a lazy summer evening. I'm pretty easy with music though and could quite happily listen to anything, new or old.

Arctic Monkeys are probably my favourite band.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things that I've done is climb Machu Picchu. It was absolutely breathtaking!

Also, visiting the Kuna Yala Islands off the coast of Panama was sensational!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm keen to learn Spanish as I intend on moving to Argentina next year to teach English so any tips you could give me would really help! I would be more than happy to help with someone trying to learn English :)
