ABOUT ME

I think an apt description of myself would certainly be akin to that of simultaneous scholar and goof ball. The pursuit of knowledge has always been something that's driven me, and I can certainly say that I owe much of my curiosity for the wider world to the years of knowledge I've gleaned from teachers, books, other travelers, and good vibes--of which there are plenty here in Austin. :)

PHILOSOPHY

"I am, I am, I am."

I live my life because I am part of this beautiful planet earth, and I see no reason to do otherwise. There is so much to be seen, done, and lived that it would be ludicrous to forfeit my curiosities and yearning for knowledge in order to stay in one place, perpetually afraid of change. On a less serious note, we're here--so let's make the most of it!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to host until next August because I will be out of the country. Once I'm back, my couch/futon is a free for all!
