About Me
Hello, my name is Amy and I have a huge passion for traveling, though I believe a lot of people on this site do! I am currently studying engineering and astrophysics at ASU but abroad at the University of Manchester with a minor in painting, and no idea what I want to do in the future. I like to say I am clean, well-mannered, and extremely hygienic. I joined Couchsurfing to meet new people, as a stay for a couple nights is just an added bonus.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am trying to travel the world after I finish college and even during and I hoped to find a cheap way for housing. That being said I also would not mind hosting people who would be willing to stay in this pizza oven that is Phoenix, Arizona, and find it a great way to meet people from all over!
Interests
Hobbies include painting or drawing, science, maths, travel, debate, politics, cooking, going to museums, collecting postcards, makeup, and writing! I also hope to one day hike the Pacific Crest Trail, all 2,650 miles of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I decided to go backpacking Europe when I finished high school, with no real experience. Ended up being the most life-changing trip of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't like to teach as much as I like to learn, but I like to say that people learn a lot from me through engaging in conversation, but it'll just flow naturally! Love learning more about the universe, our place in it, and also quantum mechanics (though that sounds really lame). Share a world, see how our worlds meet in the middle and how we aren't so different after all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First, I'll definitely cook for you as long as you are into vegan or vegetarian food! Also a new story, different outlooks on life, and a definitive new perspective on politics. I love good conversation, and will bring snacks!
