Overview
About Me
I'm a just a girl from a small town in the South. I lived in the same house until I was 18. The first time I ever lived anywhere else was in college, which was just a 5-hour drive from my hometown.
When I started traveling in 2009, the world opened up for me. After college, in 2012, I left my small hometown and drove cross country from Florida to California. I didn't know anyone in California, but I wanted to take a risk, and I'm glad I did!
In 2013 I quit my job to focus on my writing, start my own business, and travel the world. And I haven't looked back since. In 2014 I lived in South America for 5 months; that's where I learned Spanish. I wrote a book about Cusco, Peru, in March 2014.
Now I'm based out of San Francisco, but making my way to Paris for November and December, where I plan to work on my poetry. If you're in the area, I'd love to meet you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently based out of San Francisco, and I'm about to visit France in November. I see Couchsurfing as a more authentic way of traveling, as you get to meet and spend time with locals.
