My boyfriend and I just moved onto a property in gorgeous northern California. We're at the earliest stages of beginning a homestead - making garden beds, building a greenhouse, and settling into our new home. Amy loves to cook, and is excited to practice more food preservation and herbal medicine. Loren is an all-around handyman and also into mountain biking. We both like to hike and go backpacking, and are hoping to learn to fish soon.

Before this project, I've been moving and traveling for 3 years. I've lived in a few different states (AL, OR, WY, VT, CO, UT, CA) as well as done long trips abroad (backpacked in Europe, hitchhiked around Ireland, vanlife in NZ, roadtrip around South Africa). Through traveling, I've developed a love for a slow, intentional lifestyle. I take photos, journal, and occasionally make art.
