Hey!
We're a friendly, easy going couple in our twenties living in London and wanting to experience as much of the world as we can before we settle down. We've travelled all over the UK and to mark our anniversary we're planning a month long trip from London, to Iceland, to New York, to Denver then to Boston and back home.
I've had a taste of travelling and adore it, but my boyfriend hasn't left the UK in over 15 years, I want this to be an amazing experience for him. We'd love to stay with nice people like us who love where they're from and can tell (and maybe show) us all the fantastic things about where the local area. We want to do the touristy things but also go to your favourite bars and restaurants too!
We're big music and movie fans (one of the reasons we're going to Colorado is to see Cal's favourite band play!) and have a lot of varied tastes and a wide frame of reference, we tend to get on with everyone.
We're very courteous and tidy people in general and are trying to travel on a budget, even if you don't have room for us we love chatting to people and if you can recommend things to do and places to go we'd love to hear from you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This has been a pretty last minute trip and we don't have very much money. We want to spend it on doing amazing things, anywhere with a roof is more than good enough for us to stay! We also love meeting new people and want to get as much out of this experience as we can.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love all kinds of music from pop to heavy metal but spend most of our time listening to indie rock. We're seeing Ween in Colorado and our favourite artists and bands include Prince, Of Montreal, Deerhunter, Beastie Boys, Black Lips, Tame Impala and David Bowie.
We're both big sci fi fans and between us have read most of John Wyndham's books. We like contemporary fiction and the classics and are happy to talk more in detail about what else we're interested in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make candy for a living and really enjoy it, I'd be more than happy to make some with/for you if you were to put us up!
