Film: Whale Rider, the works of Wes Anderson, Most Miyazaki films with Spirited Away being my favorite, anything directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet with City of Lost Children on the top of the list, and David Attenborough documentaries, most notably The Life of Birds.

Books: A few favorites include The Bone People, God of Small Things, The Little Prince, Margaret Atwood. Currently reading Temple Grandin's The Autistic Brain, The Secret Life of Wonder Woman, Cows, Pigs, Wars and Witches, and The Complete Book of Home Preserving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Became an aunt, built a 110 sq foot super-insulated hut, started practicing acro yoga.
