ABOUT ME

I'm a dreamer & wanderer (my dad says 'gypsy'), always planning my next vacation. One day I hope to find a job that allows me more freedom to travel and interact with those who are traveling. Perhaps manning an entrance to a National Park or being a guide for a tour bus company. I love to be outdoors, sing, and dance. Sometimes all three at the same time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed once but I loved it. I keep in touch with my host via FB and am so thankful for the opportunity to make a new friend. I live for new people, places and activities and think this will be the best way to continue doing that as I travel.

Amelie, which I think kind of relates to what couchsurfing is all about. Helping out those around you and leaving something positive with those you encounter. And sending gnomes around the world.
I just read Love With a Chance of Drowning which is a memoir about a gal who sailed around the Pacific with a new boyfriend. It was a great adventure and inspiration for my life and travels.

I think scuba diving has been the most amazing thing I've done so far. I love being near/in the water. I've also been skydiving which was the most thrilling experience I've ever had.
