Overview
About Me
I have a cat. We're pals. I like wandering around and doing stuff, either on my own or with people who like to have good conversations. I'm on the quieter side but not awkward. Kinda handy at fixing stuff. Pretty low-maintenance person to be around, and self-sufficient but a big fan of other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel back and forth between Austin and Boston frequently for work, and have been staying with my boss. She's awesome, but she has a family and when I come stay for a week I feel like I'm interrupting their routine. Plus I might end up moving to Boston, so I'd really appreciate the chance to get to know some other parts of town, and to get to know some of the fine people of Boston.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Octopus Project, Spirit Family Reunion, Devil Makes Three, Santigold, Motion City Soundtrack are happening in my life a lot right now
Movies: lord I don't even know
Books: Margaret Atwood's Madd Addam trilogy. I'm in a Kurt Vonnegut book club where the spirit is there but we fail to read often. Critical theory/labor economics/people's movement stuff. Recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started a union in Texas.
Also I got a circular dog treat stuck on my chihuahua's head and had to saw it off with a Dremel. My roommate was amazed that I'm allowed to live without adult supervision.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I'll share just about anything, and that goes for teaching and learning too. It's kind of the same process however you look at it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
You want a "Come and Take It" magnet? It's yours. I'll get you one at the airport.
I can help cook and clean - I really like to express my appreciation for good hospitality. I am happy to share meals and booze and time and all of those really nice things. We can swap books too, if you're interested. Or just share some silence and the comfort of being around someone who doesn't want anything from you (except a place to sleep).
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Turkey
