My boyfriend Alex (25) and I (24) have been in New Zealand for 5 months now, we worked on a farm over winter and are now travelling with the rest of a 2 year visa to play with.
We are an outgoing, positive couple that love to meet new people, experience new things and have a good laugh over a brew or a beer :)
We are really easy going and respectful of people's homes, beliefs and the way they live.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing because the best way to experience a new country and culture, is to integrate and live with the local people. It worked for us in China, and so far so good in New Zealand.
Only the locals know the most interesting places, the greatest scenery and the best bars/places to eat.

Current CDs in the car (don't laugh):
Will Smith, Fat Freddie's Drop, Blink 182, Prince, Ben Howard, Queen, Bon Iver.
So basically all music, we're not closed minded at all and love being introduced to new stuff

Star Trek, Star Wars, Snatch (again, pretty much any film)

We read anything and everything so definitely open to suggestions of more great books

We both managed to teach English to Chinese nationals whilst living (winging it) in Sichuan Province, China

In my early teens I saved a young boy from drowning in a pool and Alex once fished out seven ducklings from a storm drain... so we would be an asset to all animals lovers and/or weak swimmers

We certainly have many funny stories to share, mostly at our own expense mind.

I love to cook and Alex is a professional washer upper, and drier of all manners of pots and pans.

We helped a guy move house last time we couchsurfed, Alex is not too bad with DIY and we're both pretty good with computers so we can help fix a few things.

Also, Alex is part mule enabling him to carry all shopping bags from the car to the house in only one trip.
