I am an energetic, kind, and fun-loving person. I'm always looking for the next adventure and love to explore new places and meet new people. I love to stay active, eat healthy, enjoy live music, and enjoy the company of others. I love yoga and have been practicing for 20 years now. I'm passionate about health and wellness. I eat a healthy plant based, gluten and dairy free diet 80% of the time and the other 20% is anything I would like. It took me years of nutritional guidance, and elimination diets to come to this lifestyle and I love it. If you want to learn more I'm an open book and love sharing my journey and all I have learned along the way. I love being active outdoors and would love to go hiking. I'm open to hearing about any suggested trails, especially the less known hot spots in your area.

I just joined Couchsurfing to explore new cities to scope out to potentially move to. I'd love any recommendations and have the opportunity to meet new people along the way.

What I'm looking for: A medium sized city (20,000 people) or so, the culture is focused on health and wellness, and less on drinking and sports like my hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'd love to be within walking distance to healthy eclectic restaurants, live music venues, water (lakes, rivers, etc), and access to hiking / biking trails. I dislike sitting in traffic so ideally I'd work and live close to one another. Ideally the people are kind and friendly, the area is safe to live and explore at all hours. Most of all, I want to be in a place with abundant sunshine annually. Does such a place exist?!?! I'd love a host to show me!!

I love all kinds of music except for country. Movies I really enjoy comedy, action, drama, and documentaries. Books tend to be more focused on self-help. Recently I read "How not to die alone" by Logan Ury. Highly recommended for single folks. I currently am reading "Attached: The new science behind Adult Attachment styles" by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller.

I just did a 4 day REI Adventure trip to the Smokey Mountains in June. We hiked 5-8 hours a day, camped, did white water rafting, and zip-lining for the first time in my life!! It was an incredible trip.
