Why hello there! My name is Amy and I'm a 21 year old female from New Zealand. I have just finished my degree at a Performing Arts School in my hometown and have been touring around New Zealand in a van doing kids theatre shows to schools. I have always been surrounded by people from all walks of life and love to listen and share stories and ideas about the world we live in today. I have just moved to England, and I am currently travelling around Europe. So far I spent two weeks touring with a Reggae band in the Netherlands, and I am making my way through Berlin, Prague, Austria, and Italy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People are interesting and I would much rather get to know the culture of a city from the locals who know all the hidden gems. I believe everyone can learn something from each other, so this would be a perfect opportunity to share different life experiences.

Interests

You'll find me listening to music, reading a book or relaxing in the sunshine. As I have been studying theatre for the past three years, my passion lies in acting. Singing and dancing are other interests which I've picked up over the past few years and I enjoy a good night out on the town. I enjoy talking with people about what their opinion of the world is today and what they envision it to be in the future.

Music: I enjoy a wide variety from Rufus Wainwright to Beirut. Most artists who fall into the genre of Jazz, Soul, Funk, Electro/House, and Classical.

Books: George Orwell, David Nicholls, Russell Brand, Eckhart Tolle.
