About Me

**Currently not able to take guests as I'm spending a few months travelling Europe at the moment

This year I've taken the brave (or crazy) decision to put my career as a young surgical trainee on hold to remember what's important in life and travel the way I've always dreamed of. I've been working so hard for so long and now it's time to take a step back and live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new friends from different cultures and have fun!

While travelling I'm hoping to meet locals from the countries I'm visiting as well as likeminded travellers, to meet interesting new friends and experience the real life and culture of these places.

I have hosted people visiting my country before, but am brand new to the Couchsurfing community. I love to meet people from other countries and show them what I love about Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

"All the light we can not see" - amazing book by Anthony Doerr

The Pixies, Modest Mouse, The Shins, Aurora, Sigur Ros, Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Also love listening to Latin music, classic hip hop, reggae.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in a medical centre in a remote Australian Aboriginal community in Arnhem Land.

This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I was sad to leave the wonderful people who invited me into their community and made me family. This is a very rare experience in Australia, as few outsiders are permitted to enter these secluded communities. I learnt so much about the life of the Yolngu people and was glad to be able to give aid in an area with few resources, so that the community can continue their traditions and have access to medical care without having to travel alone hundreds of kilometres to the nearest city.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Vatican City State, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Chile
