Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every traveler gets towards the end of their trip and could use some extra help stretching the budget. I a no different. it also allows a real experience of a place. immersing oneself in real culture makes for a better experience through a locals eyes, rather than blindly following where so many travelers have done before. I like to have a mix of touristy and local - this way you get the best of each place you visit.

The thing I LOVE most is dancing and singing. I performing, creativity, food, friends, sunsets - I love them all! but anything theater and performing arts is what truly grabs my attention!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love period drama on tv and in the form of historical fiction. I listen to almost any music that sounds like music to me (not a fan of heavy metal), but have a natural affinity for jazz, blues and carnival rhythms running through my veins- both modern and vintage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Qualified to guide the next generation! yup I am a teacher/private tutor. I love to think that through my proffession (and my passion) reaching out to children that have been lost in the system or refused a second chance.

also on a more practical note - i have sung in front of thousands of people in London - scary!

Teach, Learn, Share

With passions for so many things within education i'm really great with kids and young adults. I'm a fun baby sitter and tutor so can help with homework and keeping children out of trouble (no guarantees of course!) I have a little experience teaching English as an additional language too

any cleaning or general housework can be thrown my way too, I'm not a professional chef, but i know my way around a kitchen enough to make people smile.
