I am a 21 year old kiwi girl embarking on my OE! I have spent the last 5 years studying towards my degree in Education, and been managing a hostel on the side :). I am now excited to be off experiencing the world! I am happy and easy going and would love to meet and have a few drinks with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am about to embark on my first solo trip to Europe! My plans are to use my Eurail pass to see as much as possible in my 5 months in Europe, and then maybe spend 6 months in Asia?? We'll see ;). I would love to experience places as the locals do, cook for you and have a few wines! The opportunity to couch surf is pretty exciting! :). I am open and friendly, and look forward to staying with others.

I am travelling alone for August, November and December+ and will be joined by my wonderful mama during September and October as we travel through Istanbul, Greece, Italy and along the Rivera all the way down to Morrocco! I would love for her to also experience couch surfing and sharing experiences with the locals :)

When I return home I will be more than happy to host guests and show them around Dunedin! This will either be in my home or at the backpackers I manage - www.backpackersdunedin.co.nz :)

Interests

I love travelling, being creative, skiing, tramping, gardening, learning and teaching sustainability and conservation. I enjoy children - hence the education degree :). I like to relax, read and watch movies. I love cooking and eating! I will hopefully get the chance to learn some of the traditional techniques while travelling :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tramped the Routburne Track for my 21st birthday, booked solo flights to Europe, watched the sunset on Nusa Lembongan Island.. I can't choose :P
