Hi! I’m a traveling German/Political Science student from New Mexico 🌵 in search of a friendly couch + cool, open-minded new friends and experiences!
I’d say I’m pretty outgoing and I can talk your ear off, but I’d rather listen, and I often need quiet time to decompress. I can be the life of the party and dance up a storm, or I could be perfectly content just observing the scene. I try to be impressive, but also never to take myself too seriously.
I guess I’m sort of a hippy. Grew up on a hot springs in the middle of the desert. I did an exchange in Marburg, Germany last year (taught myself German) and have returned to Europe this summer for a research project with my university to compare US border politics with Germany’s migration situation. The more I study, the more I realize I have to learn, and I’m always open to outside perspectives!
I’m currently obsessed with World War II history and I collect and press flowers religiously, which you might think is dorky but oh well, haha. I’m very into foreign languages and cultures, writing and journaling, photography, portraiture, and illustration. I like impressionist art, dark cinema, and fairy tales/ folk legends.

Fun fact: I can lick my elbow (only the right one, not the left)
