Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a teacher, I don't make much money. Couchsurfing seems like a fantastic organization for people to see the world who simply can't afford high-priced tourism rates!

Interests

I am kind of an info-holic - addicted to Infohal! I do a lot of online reading. I love reading about politics, education, and local news stuffs.
I also love a good beer. Beer-fests, etc always interest me.
I am also learning to be a wine snob :)
I am a sucker for karaoke.

I am currently reading The Maid and The Queen. I like all kinds of music, guiltily will still listen to justin timerlake and britney spears - 90's girl at heart!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the lava flows on Big Island has been one of the most life changing moments for me. To see the real life destruction that can come so quickly really made me stop and think about how fragile life is, and how important it is to live in the moment, and try to enjoy what we have when we have it!
