Présentation
À propos de moi
I'm 31 years old from Brighton in the UK. I like spending time getting lost in the beautiful wilderness - forests and mountains are where I feel most at home. I enjoy hiking, cycling, reading, cooking and having deep 'intellectual' conversations (normally about subjects I don't understand so I can learn!). I like meeting and talking to all kinds of different people. I'm not much of a partier but I do like to social if it's in a nice, quiet, calm environment. I am friendly and open minded, very interested in learning about new people and the world.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I am planning to through caution to the wind and head off on my first long term solo adventure. I don't mind staying in hostels but the partying/drinking scene is not for me, so I would like to stay with interesting local people and learn more about their worlds - rather than play beer pong in a hostel with a bunch of other english people! I am not opposed to wild fun, I've just done a lot of that on past travels and I'm now looking for a more quieter more reflective experience and to possibly make friends in far flung places who I can one day return the favour of hosting!
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I trekked round the Himalayas with a friend in 2016. We did the Annapurna Sanctuary trek in 10 days. It was one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have ever done in my life. It was unbelievably tough and challenging and I almost gave up at points, but I made it and was rewarded with the most stunning scenery I have ever seen in my life.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I'm friendly and a good listener, I love learning about people and hearing the stories of their lives - especially their travelling adventures. I am very organised, clean and enjoy cooking so in return for hosting me I will cook you delicious food (and tidy up after)!
