ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old female, currently living in San Francisco and working as a middle school teacher. English and teaching are my passion, as is traveling, coffee, wine and yoga. I am fascinated by new discoveries and am always up for a challenge. Lover of life, literature, and liquor, I live my life to the fullest and am about to embark on a month long adventure across Western Europe with my best friend, Kelsey.

PHILOSOPHY

Adventure, love, and be positive. We only have one life to live and we should experience it to the fullest capacity, and then some.

I hung out with several couch surfers while I was living in San Luis Obispo and am looking forward to using it while I travel across Europe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met several couch surfers while living in San Luis Obispo and became very good friends with them! I think the whole concept is a fantastic way to connect people from across the world. I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. I would love the opportunity to continue doing so now that I am going on my own travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love horror movies, particularly those directed by John Carpenter.

I listen to a vast varieties of music: rap, country, rock, indie, etc.

Books are my obsession. From J.K. Rowling, to Charles Dickens. I have a love for the classic, as well as the current. I believe reading is the door to creativity and intelligence. I advocate for all to be readers and attempt to embark this philosophy on my students.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My job is the most amazing thing I have ever done. Teaching middle school has been the craziest ride of my life. I love it and I have learned so much more from my students than I could ever hope to teach them!
