ABOUT ME

22 year old American who joined couch surfing while studying abroad at Oxford for a year, currently taking on my gap year before law school, artist (drawing, painting, sculpture), loves to laugh, has a twin who is polar opposite in every way possible, world's worst speller, I am constantly looking for the good in people and in even the worst of situations, a beautiful sky can cheer me up even the worst of days

I'm always up for trying new things. Never dwell on the past, be aware of the future, but live in the present!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have done two 5 week backpacking trips though Europe and have couch surfed during both. I love meeting new people and immersing myself in the culture of wherever I am. I am always up for new, spontaneous experiences and couch surfing is a great way to find them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I absolutely love the couch surfing community. I have never had a bad experience, and have even gotten a few friends to try it! I am still connected with many of my hosts and would love to host myself one day.

Saw movies, Alfred Hitchcock movies, Die Hard, Fracture, Along Came a Spider, National Treasure, Forrest Gump, Inglorious Bastards, Disney Pixar, Back to the Future, Law Abiding Citizen, The Help, The Notebook, Indiana Jones

... I just realized those are all movies. I am not a fan of reading, despite the fact that I want to be a lawyer.

I listen to any and all kinds of music, but if you ask me what the name of a song is or who sings it, chances are I won't know because I also have the memory of an elephant... or are elephants the ones that have good memories... I don't know, I can't remember!

I am a curious soul always asking questions. I want to learn about where people came from and how that made them into the people they are today. I want to share my stories with others and hopefully make a lasting impact, whether it be by making them see something in a different light, or by just making their day a lot brighter. I want to share memories :)
