Hello! My name is Amy. I am an easy-going person, talkative and generally social.

I am raised in Vancouver BC, and went to university in Toronto, Canada. I have lived in Germany for 6 months. I have traveled predominately North America and Western Europe.

I am born in China. I immigrated to Canada when I was 7, and having only visited China once when I was 10. I am afraid I am a bit of your typical North Americanized Chinese as my Mandarin is pretty terrible however I can still understand a general portion!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I simply would like to meet new people on adventures and on my personal journeys. Looking forward to hearing about individuals' life and their wonderings.

Currently I am wondering through China for 6 weeks! Since I haven't been back to China since I was 10 years old, I am keen to see each local culture. I have always wanted to try coachsurfing, and felt this trip would be a great way to test the waters.

Interests

I am a casual runner, I feel the best way to learn about a city to take a light jog around it. Personally I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking. One thing I have missed most along my travels, have been my foam roller.

I enjoy playing with new technologies and learning about its impacts and evolution of its usage. Social and individual adaption has always interest me.
