ABOUT ME
Hi y'all, I'm Amy and I'm originally from the great state of Texas. I moved abroad after graduating from college and worked with the JET Program, teaching at a junior high school in Japan for two years. Now, I'm a graduate student of NCKU's IMBA program in Tainan, Taiwan. I would say that I'm pretty laid-back and ready to go with the flow.
Interests
I love international politics, movies, chatting at tea shops, discovering new authors/bands, meeting new friends, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
This is such a difficult question! I'll just tell you what's on my radar right now:
Books: I'm reading Patricia Cornwell's "Red Mist"
Movies: Just re-watched Pan's Labyrinth and cried like a baby.
Books: I have Andrew Bird on as I'm typing this.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Viewing the Terracotta Soldiers in Xi'an was an incredible experience, especially because I had studied them previously. It was so shocking to actually be able to view them after reading up on them for so long! A piece of history that special really takes your breath away.
I also found cherry blossom season in Japan to be one of the most remarkable times in my life. The atmosphere is so peaceful and it was like something out of a movie.
