Overview
About Me
I love food, the sun, walking around exploring, and getting to know new places!
I’d describe myself as chatty but at the same time quite mellow and laid-back. I am an editor which is a very solitary job, so normally outside of work I love to be social and be out of the house.
One of my favourite things is just to sit somewhere nice and drink tea or a coke (I don’t often drink alcohol but I don’t mind if you do). I really love beaches and swimming pools so if you know a good one then please :)
I’m interested in trying out some new sports, especially things like rock climbing and paragliding! I like long walks, ice skating, running - only sports I don’t like are the messy ones.
I’m looking to travel on the weekends - ideally arriving Friday night and departing Sunday afternoon.
I will never smoke in your house, I will always go outside.
Although I love food (and I really do!) I unfortunately have a dietary restriction on gluten. I have Coeliac Disease (an autoimmune condition) and this can be very hard to navigate if you are not used to it so I’d ask you to please not worry about preparing food for me or showing me local cuisine unless we can be sure that it’s safe for me to eat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to see more countries and cities :) I have not really travelled all that much and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.
