I was living in Brighton and working in a language training company, but decided to give that all up and go on an adventure through Central America, California, Fiji and Australia with my friend Lauren. That was the plan at least, and now our travels have also led us to explore South East Asia as well. Who knows where else in the world we may end up...

The best philosophical question I have been asked was by a surprisingly wise stoned guy at a festival. He questioned my friend and I as to whether we were 'why' girls or 'why not' girls. Since then I've been trying to live more as a why not girl...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had a profile for ages, meaning to use it when I was travelling in Europe but never did. I'm now keen to couchsurf on this trip as everyone keeps telling me such good things about it :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was with Rob in San Diego who hosted my friend Lauren and I in Dec 2013. It was a great introduction to the world of CS and I'm keen to experience more of it during the rest of our trip

Snorkeling in Belize, zip-lining in Costa Rica, releasing baby turtles in El Salvador, having cream tea in a treehouse in the Nicaraguan jungle, hearing the call to prayer sound out across the city from a rooftop in Fez, Morocco
